Yesterday, for the first time in RHRN history, a joke wasn't posted. It was indeed the darkest day in the history of Mankind, Womankind and Otherkind.

My net was down, and I had a lot of work. Thats just about the reason why I couldn't post a joke. Anyways, Today my blog will feature 2 Jokes.

Btw, I saw Parineeta today, its a nice movie. Too many songs (but the songs are pretty decent). Nice to see Bengali culture being portrayed in its full glory.

Wow... today my blog touched 3000 views  Thankee all those who have stopped by and wasted their time on my blog... me and my trolls are eternally grateful to thee. . Now, get back to work.

I apologize for the delay in putting up today's (Sunday) funnies... coz yesterday was a very hectic day and since i had to wake up early to attend a seminar, i had to sleep early.

By the way, yesterday was a very technologically rewarding day... i upgraded my computer and my dad's computer. The whole deal didn't cost much, considering i bought so many things. I upgraded my dad's computer by adding a DVD drive, a new CD Wrtiter and an addition 512 MB Ram (plus the existing 128MB) so, now the computer is considerabily fast... also did the customary format-reinstall of Win XP.

Now... the juicy part... my computer!   Discarded my stupid neanderthal 14" monitor, and got a Samsung Syncmaster 793s... trust me , its a beaut! Also, added an additional 512MB Ram (which means now i have 1GB!!) POWERHOG est Moi. Also, discarded my old CD Writer (a measly 24x), and got the new 52X Samsung Writer (I didn't opt for a DVD writer, coz I firmly believe that a DVD is more susceptible to data loss as compared to a CD) a minute, almost invisible scratch on a DVD could result in a loss of 4 GB of data (too much of a heartbreak, as far as I am concerned). Got a new keyboard, my old one was a bit dirty and rusty.

The whole thing cost me around Rs. 12750... which i think is pretty decent.

Well, now i have to test the excellence of my PC, by playing a game . So till next time.....

Yesterday i met 2 of my 10th grade friends online. Man... it was a great feeling to talk to these guys after 7 long years! (damn, i feel so old already!)  We were reminiscing those good ol' days. I took down the email IDs of other classmates.... Most of them are there in the US of A.... Hopefully i would be going there next year.

Otherwise, life is pretty dull... yesterday's dinner was amazing, all of us had fun! The food in Little Italy gets 10/10 and the service is awesome... But the cost factor kinda pinches the wallet... but who cares... as long as all of us had fun!

Well, day was boring as usual.... I'm going out tonight to Little Italy, a vegeratian Italian restaurant... pretty nice place. I will be treating a few of my friends there... coz i passed my MA. (these people, they can find any reason under the sky to ask for a treat )

I've been eating out a lot lately, and putting on a lot of weight, I've decided that from tomorrow morning i am gonna start my exercise routine again....  So, tonight probably would be my last meal outside for a long time to come.

Hasta la vista... Baby.. (is that italian or spanish?)

Well, This probably is the second time or so I'm writing something of my "own" on my blog. Heh heh... all these days I had been copying and pasting my forwards for your reading pleasure... Now due to requests after requests... i'm gonna blog something of my own... (and this is gonna make my blog lose a lot of readers) haha.

Well, the reason i had been procastinating this "blog writing" phenomena was due to my hectic schedule. I had joined this leadership course called the MILT Leadership Course. MILT stands for McGrath Institute for Leadership Training. It was a really good course, though my batchmates were all atleast 5 years elder to me, i had great fun. (Author's note: They used to serve nice food during the breaks!).

Now that this course is over, I'm even more jobless. Have to prepare for my GRE and TOEFL... i am planning to take it up in August... (do u people think i stand a chance?). So many things have been going on in my life... dont feel like mentoning them in my blog... not worth mentioning... lot of challenges (wouldn't call them problems... that would make me a loser wouldn't it?  )

Its nearly 2 pm now... lunch time... must be Thair sadam (curd rice) good for this hot weather. [this shows i am running out of topics to write about]

Well, now i am seriously hungry... i have to go and hog.. i'm sorry... eat.
